Moving around for the majority of her childhood, Sara Moinuddin finally found herself settled right outside of Hollywood; Irvine, California. As an only child with a single-mother, the only way to truly fill the house was through movies and TV. From all weekend Doctor Who and Sherlock marathons to playing Fantastic Mr.Fox the minute it started to feel like autumn, Sara fell in love with the worlds she was transported to. However, being of Mexican and Indian descent, she never felt like she truly saw herself on the screen. Sara realized that she needed to be a part of and create worlds where she and girls like her could exist and thrive; thus beginning her passion for acting. After years of school musicals and plays, Sara found herself in New York City pursuing a BA in Acting at Pace University.

 

When she’s not acting, Sara can be found scrolling on Ebay in bidding wars for vintage clothes she doesn’t need and belting “Creep" by Radiohead when her roommates aren’t home.

 

Through her art, she inspires little girls who feel like they don’t belong… makes her mother proud…and also already promised to introduce her to Benedict Cumberbatch.
